Paul Peglar is a multifaceted performer, music director, and educator whose career spans over two decades on stage, screen, and in classrooms around the world. A graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television, Paul’s work reflects his core mission: to create and hold spaces—physical, emotional, and artistic—where authenticity, connection, and joy can thrive.

From performing on international stages like SXSW, Sundance, Sony Hall, and the Ford Amphitheater to appearing on screen in HBO’s The Deuce, Pirates of the Caribbean, and as the original pianist on Glee, Paul has built a dynamic career rooted in both artistry and impact. Signed to Verve Forecast with the vocal-electronic group Sonos, his collaborations have included Sara Bareilles, Margaret Atwood, and (ahem) Kanye West. His postmodern vaudeville duo Dakaboom toured nationally, delivering over 400 performances across 48 states.

As an educator and facilitator, Paul has worked with thousands of students—from middle schoolers to CEOs—across the U.S., U.K., and Europe. He’s served as Music Director, Vocal Coach, and Workshop Leader for institutions such as Atlantic Theater Company, the Motown Museum, Tiffany & Co., TASIS (Switzerland), Stowe School (UK), and is currently the Vocal Director of the Steps on Broadway Conservatory in New York City.

In collaboration with his partner, Broadway’s Jenny DiNoia, Paul co-leads Penny, a dynamic arts education and training company offering musical theater masterclasses and transformational workshops rooted in vulnerability, curiosity, and embodied expression. Together they are also building The Woods, a training ground for leaders and artists seeking to grow through courage, presence, and radical self-awareness (launching 2026).

A devoted storyteller featured on the RISK! podcast and recently seen on stage as Jonathan Larson in tick, tick… BOOM!, Paul’s work is a testament to the power of play. He splits his time between Brooklyn and Los Angeles and continues to develop live events, workshops, and creative experiences that inspire deeper human connection.
